Sorry Arizona, you did not win the $1.5 billion Powerball Jackpot.

And seeing the digital Powerball signage around the Valley reset itself to $40 million stung a little bit, too.

But, don't fret just yet; there were quite a few winning tickets sold in Arizona--610,233, in fact, according to the Powerball website.

Three people matched all 5 numbers, but missed the famous red Powerball, winning the second-place prize of $1 million. A fourth person also matched all five numbers, but purchased the Power Play option doubling their ticket's value to $2 million.

"I kind of had my hopes and dreams planned for the big jackpot so I knew what I was going to do with that money. So I would really have to skim it down if it was going to be $2 million," said Powerball player Krystal Gillis.

"I started buying the last couple of jackpots when I got enormous. That's probably the last three jackpots," said Gillis.

Twenty-one people bought tickets worth $50,000, according to the website, while 513 won at least $100 (26 played the Power Play option increasing their value up to $1,000).

The remaining tickets--600,000 or so--won between $4 and $7, according to the website.

In case you need to check your tickets again, Wednesday's numbers: 4-8-19-27-34. Powerball: 10.
