Arizona to not release personal voter information amid White House probe

Posted

Arizona will not be handing over personal voter information amid President Donald Trump's probe into voter fraud.

The Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity requested personal information from voters in all 50 states including date of birth and social security numbers.

Arizona Secretary of State Michele Reagan released a statement Friday saying the state would only make available the same redacted information which is also available to the public through a public records request.

"Social security numbers, Date of Birth and identifying information such as Mother's maiden name will not be transmitted," Reagan said. "Arizona's voters can expect to have their personal information remain private and safe."
