The body of an 18-month-old who went missing from a houseboat on Lake Powell has been recovered.
The body of Alleyah Janett Bel, of Orangeville, Utah was recovered Monday. The toddler went missing Saturday night near Halls Crossing in the lake, which is situated near the Arizona-Utah border.
Authorities say the child's mother was on a houseboat and lost sight of the child for a few minutes. San Juan County Sheriff Rick Eldredge says the child was not wearing a life preserver.
An investigation is ongoing but sheriff's officials say there is no evidence of foul play.
