Thursday morning, Tempe firefighters trekked up Camelback Mountain to honor their fallen brother.
Tempe Fire Captain Kyle Brayer was shot and killed while off-duty in Scottsdale. The 34-year-old was a 10-year veteran with the department.
Brayer began his career with Tempe Fire after serving in the United States Marine Corps.
