PHOENIX — Several Valley Fry's Fuel centers are experiencing "supply issues," according to Pam Giannonatti, the Kroger Corporate Affairs Manager for the Fry's Division.

At this time, it is currently unknown just how many Fry's Fuel stations are experiencing supply issues.

"We are currently experiencing fuel supply issues in the Phoenix market that we are working to resolve," Giannonatti told ABC15. "Due to the market supply and distribution challenges, many of Fry’s Food Stores fuel centers are out of fuel. While I do not have an exact number, there are many due to this issue."

It is also unclear when the supply issue will be resolved.

"We are working as quickly as possible to resolve these issues and apologize to our customers for any inconvenience," Giannonatti said.

Circle K: 'Several days' before Arizona stations are back to full fuel capacity

The fuel supply shortage at Fry's comes just 12 days after Circle K's across the state experienced fuel outages.

In a statement provided to ABC15 on March 12, Circle K stated the following:

"Circle K is experiencing fuel outages across Arizona due to a 'perfect storm' of unforeseen circumstances, including isolated issues with its pipeline, refinery supply source and ethanol distribution. The situation has been exacerbated by the customary fuel blend change at this time of year and high fuel demand due to spring break."

In a statement Monday the Arizona Department of Agriculture, which regulates fuel providers in the state, said it was not aware of any issues with fuel production or transportation into Arizona, though some retailers had reported fuel supply problems.
