The FBI is investigating an assault involving a Federal Officer on the Gila River Indian Reservation on Friday.
The Gila River Police Department said an officer-involved shooting occurred on Friday afternoon.
The shooting happened near Interstate 10 and Casa Blanca Road.
The Gila River Indian Reservation said they are working with the FBI in this investigation.
There is no information about the extent of injuries.
