PHOENIX — During their annual meeting Saturday, the Arizona Republican Party announced they will be censuring Arizona Governor Doug Ducey, former Senator Jeff Flake, and Cindy McCain.
Following the announcement, Gov. Ducey's political director, Sara Mueller, released a statement regarding the censure vote:
“These resolutions are of no consequence whatsoever, and the people behind them have lost whatever little moral authority they may have once had.”
Former Senator Flake also tweeted a photo Saturday of the three censured Republicans after visiting Washington D.C. for President Joe Biden's Inauguration on January 20.

Arizona Republicans also reelected Kelli Ward as the party's chair for a second term on Saturday.
A party spokesman said Ward secured a narrow majority on the second ballot.
