As we're set to experience one of the warmest Labor Day weekends ever in Phoenix, the Salvation Army has announced the opening of several heat relief stations located across the Valley.
Each station is meant to offer a quick escape from the heat for those who cannot easily get away from it, offering shade and water. The locations also accept donations and have specific hours to when each are open.
These heat relief stations are only open when an excessive heat warning is in effect.
