Authorities in northern New Mexico say a body found near a roadway has been identified as that of a 33-year-old Arizona woman and that her death is being investigated as a homicide.
Taos County Sheriff Jerry Hogrefe says the identity of the woman is being withheld. He says a vehicle believed to belong to the woman was found about two miles from where a passer-by found the body Sunday evening.
The body was found near the intersection of County Road 110 and Los Cordovas Road.
