A new study finds Arizona's economy is ranked among the 20 best in the U.S. — and is listed ahead of one of its chief rivals for attracting relocating companies.
Personal finance website WalletHub published a new study that ranks the economies of each U.S. state and the District of Columbia.
Arizona ranked No. 11, just ahead of Texas (No. 12) and just behind North Carolina (No. 10), according to WalletHub.
To compile its latest ranking, WalletHub compared each state and Washington, D.C., across 28 economic performance and strength indicators. Data ranged from growth in gross domestic product to startup activity and share of jobs in high-tech industries.
