Autism is a word you've likely heard before, but as a diagnosis, it can be confusing and sometimes frightening - leaving parents wondering what to do.
Southwest Autism Research & Resource center, or SARRC, is there to help. SARRC serves more than three hundred families each year, offering information on therapy, resources, and support.
While SARRC has been forced to make changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they are trying to keep a holiday tradition alive through Operation Santa Claus.
As part of ABC15's Operation Santa Claus, which marks 20 years in 2020, we're raising money for Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center, as well as Special Olympics Arizona, Chicanos por la Causa (CPLC), St. Mary's Food Bank Alliance, and Military Assistance Mission, five amazing community charities.
