PHOENIX — Police are looking for a driver who hit and killed a pedestrian on a Phoenix freeway.
Troopers with the Department of Public Safety were alerted to an injured person early Sunday morning on Interstate 17 near Buckeye Road.
The victim was pronounced dead and was identified by DPS as 20-year-old Jazmine French.
DPS says the victim was walking along I-17 for an unknown reason when they were struck.
Authorities are looking for a gray PT Cruiser that should have damage to its passenger side.
