PHOENIX — Satisfaction is in the air if you travel with either of the two largest carriers that fly in and out of the Valley.
J.D. Power's annual North America Airline Satisfaction Study saw both American Airlines and Southwest Airlines do well in ratings from passengers.
Dallas-based Southwest tied for No. 1 among low-cost carriers, which were ranked separately from traditional carriers such as American and Delta Air Lines.
Southwest, which scored 817 points on the 1,000-point scale, tied with JetBlue Airways.
