Senator John McCain is weighing in on the North Korea crisis and calling the nation's leader "crazy," "unstable" and "dangerous."
McCain, R-Arizona, is chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee.
If North Korea pushes its military aggression with more missile tests, McCain said he would support U.S. action to shoot them out of the sky.
"The general that's in charge of the Northern Command said we have that capability, but it's very risky business to rely on a system that would defeat a missile with a nuclear warhead on it that could reach the United States of America," McCain said.
Speaking at a VA event in Tempe, McCain said North Korea could become a major challenge for President Donald Trump.
McCain also said China has the ability to intervene in North Korea, forcing its neighbor to stand down by using economic sanctions.
