PHOENIX — A Valley blood non-profit says their blood donation supply is critically low.
Vitalant supplies life-saving donations for people in need across Arizona. Four-year-old Nathan Johnson is one of those people in need.
He was born a healthy baby boy but months later his mother learned he has an unknown and incurable condition.
Little Nathan is one of many Arizonans who rely on blood donors.

April Macak says her son's bone marrow produces thin abnormal red blood cells requiring a blood transfusion every month.
Nathan and many others rely on blood donors' donations to live. Unfortunately, Sue Thew from Vitalant says their supply is extremely low.
It takes about an hour to give blood and one donation can save up to three lives. Find a full list of donation locations at vitalant.org.
