PHOENIX — The Phoenix Police Department is investigating a shooting near 32nd Avenue and Pierce Street.
Investigators say on Thursday around 1:30 a.m., a woman was shot while driving near Roosevelt Street at 35th Avenue.
She was taken to a hospital for treatment and is expected to be okay.
During an investigation, police discovered the woman was shot while suspects in an unknown vehicle started shooting at a different vehicle.
Officers did find evidence of a shooting in the area of Roosevelt. Nobody else was reportedly injured and no suspects have been identified.
