PHOENIX — Phoenix police are investigating after a man was found dead near 40th Street and Broadway Road early Monday morning.
Officers were called to the scene around 6:30 a.m. where a man was found with obvious signs of trauma. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
ABC15 crews at the scene witnessed officers looking for evidence around an area of bushes.
The cause of death has not been determined, however, police say the death is being investigated as a homicide.
Road closures are in place from 40th Street to 43rd Place.
