ASU head football coach Herm Edwards and his wife Lia will host a Sun Devil Women's Clinic to give women an exclusive look at the Sun Devil football program, ASU announced Wednesday.
The event will be held Thursday, April 25 -- the same day as the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft -- from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Sun Devil Student-Athlete Facility located at the north side of Sun Devil Stadium. Per ASU, attendees will "get an inside look at the football program, a tour of the facility, learn the basics of the game, hear from current coaches and run through drills on the field." The event will include appetizers and a cash bar.
Buffie Anderson, wife of ASU athletic director Ray Anderson, will co-host the event along with the rest of the ASU football staff. Former Arizona Republic sports columnist and current ASU Cronkite professor Paola Boivin will conduct a Q&A session alongside Sun Devil football players.
Admission is $50 per person for the general public and $40 for Sun Devil staff and faculty. Go here to register, and contact Tony Grandlienard at tgrandli@asu.edu with any questions.
