Less than 24 hours after being traded by the Arizona Cardinals, quarterback Josh Rosen released a classy video message thanking Cardinals fans and congratulating new Cards QB Kyler Murray via Twitter on Saturday.
The Cardinals traded Rosen to the Miami Dolphins on Friday, one day after taking Murray with the No. 1 overall pick. The Cards received a second-round pick in return for Rosen, whom the Cardinals drafted in the first round in 2018.
"Cardinals fans, thank you so much for all the continued support this past year. I know we didn't win as many games as we all would have hoped, but I had an unbelievable time in the desert," he said. "Unfortunately, my time here has come to an end, but you guys are getting a hell of a player in Kyler Murray. He's going to do great things for the red sea.
"Kyler: I just want to congratulate you and your family on getting drafted. Arizona's a really special place, and you're going to love playing and living here.
"To my teammates, staff, and everyone who worked at the facility, I can't thank you enough for all the support and memories we've created this past year. I'm really wishing all of the Arizona Cardinals the best of luck moving forward."
Rosen added that he's excited to join the Dolphins and is looking forward to heading to Miami, before letting Murray know his place in old-town Scottsdale is available.
Thank you @AZCardinals
