Despite the team's struggles, Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald has had nothing but positive things to say about Steve Wilks.
That continued Monday after Wilks was fired following his first and only season as Cardinals head coach.
"Endless respect for Coach Wilks... appreciate his dedication to this team and the respect he showed for every man who played for him. Thank you for everything you did and wishing you nothing but success in what will be a long, fruitful career in this league," Fitzgerald tweeted.

Wilks was fired after the Cardinals posted a 3-13 record in his first and only season in Arizona. Fitzgerald, along with cornerback Patrick Peterson and other players, expressed support for Wilks and hoped he would return next season.
Fitzgerald is yet to publicly announce his decision on whether he will return for a 16th NFL season.
