Knight will undergo surgery after suffering the injury while playing basketball in Florida. ESPN reports the injury came during a pro-am game in Miami on Wednesday. Knight is a Miami native.
Knight has averaged 15.2 points, 4.3 assists and 3.3 rebounds per game in his career. He averaged 11 points and 2.4 assists in 54 games for the Suns last season.
