In just its second season in the East Valley, Phoenix Rising FC hosted its first-ever playoff game.
Just seven days later, Rising will host another.
The United Soccer League club earned a second home playoff game after Swope Park Rangers, the No. 7 seed in the USL Western Conference playoffs, upset No. 2 seed Sacramento Republic FC on Saturday night. Phoenix Rising, the No. 3 seed, defeated the sixth-seeded Portland Timbers 2 by a 3-0 score in front of a record crowd in Tempe on Friday.
Tickets for Friday's USL Western Conference semifinal matchup will go on sale at 10 a.m. Sunday. Phoenix Rising will provide a direct link for ticket purchases on its Twitter page. Season ticket holders have the right of first refusal and the option to add additional seats at member pricing for the first 48 hours that tickets are on sale. Fans can call (623) 594-9606 with any questions about ticket sales beginning 9 a.m. Sunday.
The game will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Phoenix Rising will have a chance to avenge its one and only playoff defeat in franchise history. Swope Park Rangers defeated Phoenix Rising in a penalty shootout in a first-round playoff matchup in Kansas City, Kansas last year.
Phoenix Rising's ownership group is among those vying for one of two remaining Major League Soccer expansion franchises. MLS officials attended Friday night's playoff victory in Tempe.
