On his road to recovery from an ACL injury that ended his 2015 season, Arizona Cardinals All-Pro safety Tyrann Mathieu is putting in some hard work as he looks to return in time for the beginning of the Cards' 2016 campaign.
On Monday, the Honey Badger had a partner in his workout -- not another Cardinal or NFL player, but a high-profile government official in the state in which Mathieu now calls home.

Yep, that's Mathieu next to Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich, a Republican and Arizona State graduate who was elected to the position in 2014.
Brnovich's shirt is an homage to Basketball Hall of Famer "Pistol" Pete Maravich.
It looks like the photo may have been taken at the Fischer Institute in Phoenix, where Mathieu has been working to rehab his surgically repaired right knee.
