Arizona State University confirmed Tuesday that its men's club soccer team has been suspended for two weeks and will be reinstated April 3.
The team reported the news on its Facebook page Tuesday morning, noting it will be required to forfeit scheduled games against Arizona and Grand Canyon as a result.
ASU confirmed the news to ABC15 on Tuesday but declined to provide a reason for the suspension.
The Sun Devil men's soccer team is a club sport governed by the West Coast Soccer Association and is not affiliated with the NCAA. It was scheduled to play the UA men's club team Saturday in Tucson.
UA and GCU also declined comment on the suspension.
