Finishing with just a 6-6 regular-season record, the Arizona State Sun Devils' 2015 campaign didn't exactly go as planned.
The good news is the Sun Devils are still bowl-bound -- and their fans won't have to travel far to watch them play.
On Sunday, it was revealed that ASU will face West Virginia (7-5) in the Motel 6 Cactus Bowl at Chase Field, the home of the Arizona Diamondbacks, in Phoenix. The game will begin at 8:15 p.m. on Jan. 2.
"This is a great opportunity for this team, especially these seniors, to finish out the season in our Valley in front of Sun Devil Nation," ASU coach Todd Graham said in a statement.
"West Virginia is a tough opponent and I look forward to an entertaining matchup in a unique environment at Chase Field."
