For the first time in eight weeks, the Arizona Wildcats are back in the top 10.
Staying there beyond this week will not be easy.
UA (22-5, 10-4 Pac-12) moved up to No. 9 in the Associated Press poll and No. 10 in the USA TODAY coaches poll released Monday. The Wildcats have won six straight games, including a blowout of Arizona State on Wednesday, to move into a first-place tie in the Pac-12 with four regular-season games to go.
But the Wildcats have a pair of tough road games ahead of them. They'll travel to Boulder to face Colorado (19-9, 8-7) on Wednesday, then head to Salt Lake City to play No. 22 Utah (21-7, 10-5) on Saturday. Both teams have lost just one home game in conference play.
Arizona is currentlyprojected by ESPN's Joe Lunardi as a No. 4 seed in the NCAA Tournament. Victories over Colorado and Utah could help the Wildcats climb that ladder, but a loss or two could bump them down the tournament seedings, as well as the Pac-12 standings.
