The Arizona Cardinals' season came to a disappointing end Sunday, but fans won't have to wait much longer to see their coach and star wide receiver back in the public eye.
Cardinals coach Bruce Arians and WR Larry Fitzgerald will headline the list of celebrities who will tee off at the Annexus Pro-Am at the Waste Management Phoenix Open, beginning Wednesday at 8:30 a.m at TPC Scottsdale's Stadium Course.
But Arians and Fitz aren't the only participants with ties to the Grand Canyon State.
Former Dallas Cowboys great Emmitt Smith, who spent his final two NFL seasons with the Cards, will participate, along with former Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder and current Detroit Tiger Justin Upton, and New York Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, a graduate of Highland High School in Gilbert.
Also competing are former Chicago Bears All-Pro linebacker Brian Urlacher, former Miami Dolphins All-Pro Jason Taylor, former Minnesota Vikings QB Christian Ponder, Pro Baseball Hall of Famer Greg Maddux, Olympic gold medalist Bode Miller and country music star Dierks Bentley.
