The Cal Golden Bears will face the TCU Horned Frogs in the Cheez-It Bowl at Chase Field in Phoenix on Dec. 26.
The bowl game will be Cal's first in three years, and it will be the Golden Bears' third overall appearance in the Cheez-It Bowl, which was renamed from the Cactus Bowl in August. TCU will make its second-ever appearance in the bowl.
Cal finished the regular season with a 7-5 overall record and 4-5 record in the Pac-12. TCU went 6-6 overall and 4-5 in the Big 12.
The game will kick off at 7 p.m. on Dec. 26. Tickets can be purchased here.

The bowl began as the Copper Bowl in Tucson in 1989. It has been played at Chase Field or Sun Devil Stadium every year since 2000, and each of the last three games have taken place at Chase Field.
The bowl game was also previously called the Insight Bowl, Insight.comBowl and Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl.
Arizona and Arizona State have both made two appearances in the bowl game. ASU appeared in the game as recently as January 2016.
