It's time for Fouhy's Small Stars! This week, we're hitting the links with a brother and sister from Chandler -- and these two are really good.
Sibling rivalry is not an issue. In fact, they help push each other to become the best golfers they can be.
Meet 14-year-old Ethan Adam and his sister, 13-year-old Madeline. They both started playing golf at a young age.
"I started when I was six and I've been doing tournaments since I was eight," Madeline said.
"I started playing when I was five and started doing tournaments when I was six," Ethan said.
And now, just a few years later, they're both excelling.
For Madeline, winning a trip to Augusta National and going to the Masters was somewhat of an unknown.
"My dad was pretty excited 'cause he knows that that's the biggest tournament in PGA Tour, so he freaked out and I was excited but I didn't really know what I was excited about," she said.
And once she found out what it was all about -- well, then it was a pretty awesome experience.
"You don't get to see courses like that so it was really cool," Madeline said.
Ethan has found just as much success on the course as his little sister! He has played in 15 tournaments so far this year and has three wins, seven top-five finishes and 11 top-10 finishes.
"I want to go as far as scholarship, pay for college, but if I can go into pros, I would love to do that, as well," he said.
Madeline actually got her first hole-in-one this year -- and got an interesting response from Mom!
"She was like, 'OK, OK,' and then she was back to talking on the phone," she said.
Oh, and that first hole-in-one for Madeline...
"It was 141 yards, um, I hit my 6 iron," she said.
We knew you were wondering!
Congratulations, Ethan and Madeline, and continued success. You're this week's Small Stars!
