Josh Rosen explains why his mom delivered a hot tub to his dorm room

Along with being a very good quarterback, Arizona Cardinals first-round draft pick Josh Rosen is well known for his fondness of hot tubs.

Rosen made waves (pun intended) in 2015 when the then-college freshman posted an Instagram video in which he was seen enjoying himself in his new inflatable hot tub that he had delivered to his UCLA dorm room. "Power moves," the caption read.

But as it turns out, the hot tub actually took a detour before it arrived on UCLA campus, thanks to a simple mistake on Rosen's part.

"I accidentally left the shipping address as my home one, not school," Rosen told ABC15's Jason Snavely.

Fortunately, Rosen's mother is a pretty cool lady.

"So, my mom gave me a call and she was just like, 'Did you get a hot tub?' I said, 'Yeah, wanna drive it up?' She said, 'All right,'" Rosen said.

Sadly, Rosen was soon required by UCLA to remove the hot tub from his dorm room. But seriously, though: How could the school take away an item that was mom-approved?

"That’s what I thought," he said. "A lot of other people tend to disagree."

At least Cardinals general manager Steve Keim is on Rosen's side.

"I wish I had one," Keim said when asked about the hot tub Thursday night.
