So, it has come to this for the Hank the Dog... if that is his real name.
Several days ago, a popular Milwaukee Brewers blog suggested that Hank, the stray dog-turned-unofficial Brewers mascot, has clearly been replaced by another pup.
That contention comes from the fact that "Hank" definitely looks a bit different than he did when he arrived at the Brewers' Spring Training facility in Phoenix two year ago.
Let's just acknowledge its a different dog and move on pic.twitter.com/q93Mdtg7JN

Well, the story has garnered so much attention that the Brewers actually plan to address the situation with the media Friday.
A press conference has been scheduled for tomorrow related to "Hank 1." Stay tuned for more information.

In the meantime, we asked our Facebook friends whether they thought the new Hank is the same as the old Hank or is, in fact, an imposter.
Dog groomer Nathan Schultes believes it's the same dog. "I've made grey dogs white again, plus the face looks the same to me," he wrote.
On the other side of the aisle, Laura Hoagland Torres said the dogs are clearly two different breeds. "One on right is bichon frise or poodie mix... one on left could not get that fluffy look no matter what groomer did," she wrote.
Who's right? Hopefully we'll get to the bottom of this situation on Friday.
