PHOENIX — The Arizona Diamondbacks have continuously made efforts to make Chase Field as fan fur-fiendly as possible. With you guys in mind, they have created two fun events for the game this Saturday, September 28, 2019, against the San Diego Padres.
Saturday will be "Caturday" at the ballpark. Purchase a special ticket and receive a limited-edition David PURRalta shirsey (t-shirt jersey). The D-backs caution that the shirts will not be mailed so you must attend the game to pick up your hiss-terical giveaway.
You will not be allowed to bring your cat to this event, however, there will be plenty of kittens in the outfield concourse that will be waiting for you. Feel free to walk behind the batter's eye and play with several cats that are up for adoption, thanks to the Arizona Animal Welfare League. The AAWL suggests bringing home two kittens instead of one, so they can have a companion and won't wake you up in the middle of the night to play. Hope you are ready to expand your family right meow!
Calling all creative types! The second event is Paint at the Park. Purchase tickets to enjoy an exclusive canvas painting session hosted by "Paint, Party & Wine" in left field's Banner Health Centered Field, all of the ballpark food you can eat, and a private 14 Hands wine sampling for those who are 21 and up. Leave with the win and a masterpiece!
First pitch is at 5:10 p.m. at Chase Field.
