Arizona Diamondbacks star first baseman Paul Goldschmidt took a pitch to the helmet during a minor-league game at Salt River Fields in Scottsdale on Sunday.
During the game vs. the Colorado Rockies, Goldschmidt was hit with a pitch, knocking his helmet from his head. But Goldschmidt remained standing after the incident.
Rockies reporter Nick Groke said Goldschmidt was removed from the game but appeared to be OK in the D-backs dugout.
