The Phoenix Suns won't have to wait long to see LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers in the Valley next season.
The Suns released their complete 2018-19 regular-season schedule on Friday. They will open play by hosting the Dallas Mavericks on Oct. 17, and their second home game will be vs. LeBron and the Lakers on Oct. 24. In between, the Suns will have road matchups vs. the Denver Nuggets and defending-champion Golden State Warriors.
The Suns will play seven of their first 11 games, as well as five of their last seven games, at home next season. They will have a seven-game homestand from Dec. 28 through Jan. 8.
Other games of note for the Suns:
-The San Antonio Spurs will come to town on Halloween (Oct. 31).
-The Boston Celtics will come to Phoenix on Nov. 8.
-The Suns will host the Warriors on New Year's Eve (Dec. 31).
-Reigning MVP/ASU alum James Harden and the Houston Rockets visit Feb. 4.
Single-game tickets will go on sale to the general public on Wednesday. Fans can sign up for the team's newsletter in order to gain early access to tickets throughout the season. Go here to view the Suns' preseason schedule.
The Suns will look to improve upon last season's 21-61 record, the worst in the NBA. The Suns received their first-ever No. 1 pick in June's NBA Draft and used that pick to select former UA center Deandre Ayton.
