The only thing crazier than the ending to this high school football game is what happened immediately afterward.
On Sunday, Gonzaga College High School in Washington, D.C. won its first conference championship in 16 years thanks to an incredible 59-yard Hail Mary on the final play of the game. Then, as players went to celebrate with their fans, the fence at Cardinal Stadium at Catholic University in D.C. gave way, leading to fans toppling on top of players.
Fortunately, NBC4 Sports reported everyone appeared to be OK.
