It's become almost commonplace for bees to disrupt Spring Training games in Arizona -- but the reaction to a warm a Cactus League game in Peoria on Thursday isn't something you see every day.
A swarm of bees hit the field in the ninth inning of Thursday afternoon's game between the Colorado Rockies and San Diego Padres at Peoria Sports Complex -- but instead of running off the field to avoid the bees, players from both teams reacted in a manner reminiscent of a 1950s-era nuclear fallout drill by hitting the deck.

The bees soon made their way through the ballpark and the game was able to continue. After the game, Rockies manager Bud Black recalled a similar incident from several years ago.
