So, this is a thing that happened in downtown Phoenix on Friday.
As the Arizona Diamondbacks press forward in an effort to lock up a Wild Card playoff spot, the D-backs invited an individual decked out in a high-quality dinosaur costume to "throw" the first pitch before Friday night's game vs. the Miami Marlins at Chase Field.
Here's how that went:

"The dinosaur’s presence was part of STEM night, which is part of the Diamondbacks' Science of Baseball program and featured 'Stem projects and displays throughout the ballpark,'" according to SB Nation.
