Police said no injuries were reported, and Green, who played collegiately at Michigan State, was released Sunday on a $200 bond.
Green is scheduled for arraignment July 20, according to ESPN, and he faces a maximum 93-day jail sentence and $500 fine If convicted.
"At this point, we are collecting information and will have no further comment until we have a better understanding of the situation," the Warriors said in a statement.
Green, a 2016 NBA All-Star, averaged 14 points and 9.5 rebounds per game for Golden State last season.
