Baseball Hall of Famer Randy Johnson will be named as the Grand Marshal of the Fiesta Bowl Parade on Tuesday by the National Bank of Arizona.
Johnson will be announced as the 45th Fiesta Bowl Parade Grand Marshal at 11 a.m. during a presentation at the Ziegler Fiesta Bowl Museum near Camelback Road and Marshall Way.
Executive Director of the Fiesta Bowl, Mike Nealy and Vice Chairwoman of the National Bank of Arizona, Deborah Bateman, will present Johnson with the title on Tuesday morning.
The Fiesta Bowl Parade, which is scheduled for Jan. 2 is a celebration that includes over 100,000 spectators who line the streets of Central Phoenix who will celebrate this year's theme: "Arizona's Got Game."
As one of the most decorated pitchers in the MLB history, Johnson accumulated 303 wins and 4,875 strikeouts during his 22-year career.
