For the first time since 1980-81, the Arizona State Sun Devils are going dancing for the second straight season.
ASU was one of the last four teams selected to the field and earned a No. 11 seed in the 2019 NCAA Tournament and will face St. John's in a First Four matchup. That game will be played in Dayton, Ohio on Wednesday at 6:10 p.m. Arizona time. It will be broadcast on Tru TV.

The winner of that game will face No. 6 seed Buffalo, which just so happens to be ASU coach Bobby Hurley's former team, in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Friday.
The Sun Devils finished the regular season with a 22-10 overall record and a 12-6 record in the Pac-12, good for second place in the conference. They lost to Oregon in overtime of the semifinals of the Pac-12 Tournament on Friday.
The Sun Devils had a nervous Sunday, as they were one of several teams that could easily be in or out of the NCAA Tournament field. The Devils had impressive victories over Kansas, Mississippi State, Utah State and Washington this season, as well as a series sweep of their archrivals, the Arizona Wildcats, for the first time in a decade. But they also had head-scratching losses against Vanderbilt, Princeton and Washington State.
ASU also made the NCAA Tournament last season and played a First Four game. The Devils lost to Syracuse in that game.
