GLENDALE, AZ — Two Arizona Cardinals players have tested positive for coronavirus, according to the team.
The news was first reported by an NFL Network reporter, Mike Garafolo, on Sunday.
Coach Kliff Kingsbury confirmed the positive tests and said practice would go on as usual on Monday.
The team did not say which players tested positive, but linebacker Devon Kennard shared his positive diagnosis on Twitter Monday.
I learned that like many others, I have tested positive for Covid 19. Thankfully, I feel completely normal so far. Please keep my family & I in your prayers as we navigate this. I look forward to being back on the field w/my teammates as soon as I am cleared & it’s safe to do so!

Kingsbury said contact tracing was limited and they're moving forward with proper protocol in mind.
"It was a matter of when this would occur," Kingsbury said. "We continue to talk about it... We can't let it affect our mentality."
The Cardinals were on a bye week last week and their next game is scheduled for Sunday afternoon against the Miami Dolphins. Last week, Arizona Department of Health Services gave the go-ahead for even more fans to be in attendance at the next two games at State Farm Stadium.
