PHOENIX — A 37-year-old was hit and killed in a crash in north Phoenix late Monday night.
Phoenix police say the crash occurred around 11:30 p.m. near Cave Creek Road and Dynamite Boulevard.
A bicyclist, identified as Michael Hutchinson, was hit by a car and died at the scene.
Police say the vehicle, driven by an 18-year-old man remained at the scene.
Officials say impairment and speed are believed a factor.
The investigation into what led to the crash is underway.
