PHOENIX — An Arizona Department of Public Safety trooper was taken to a hospital after a crash on Interstate 10 near 7th Avenue Monday evening.

Officials say the crash involved a trooper and a commercial vehicle in the eastbound lanes.

The extent of the trooper's injuries is unknown, but the trooper was taken to a hospital for treatment.
