APACHE JUNCTION, AZ — Thirty people are hurt after a car crashed into a building in Apache Junction Saturday night.
Officials say a truck crashed into an Elks Lodge near Apache Trail and Lost Dutchman Boulevard around 8:30 p.m.
Apache Junction police say 30 people were hurt in the crash.
Ten people were taken to area hospitals for treatment. One of those people is reportedly in critical but stable condition.
Fifteen others were treated at the scene for their injuries.
Another five people drove themselves to the hospital for minor injuries.
Police say the driver of the truck was arrested, and alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor.
Police believe the driver was leaving the lodge and accidentally drove into the building.
The crash remains under investigation.
