PHOENIX — Police are investigating after a woman was struck by two hit-and-run vehicles and killed overnight in the West Valley.
The crash occurred Tuesday night after 11:30 p.m. near 91st Avenue and Thomas Road.
The deadly crash is being investigated as a hit-and-run crash involving two vehicles. Police say the pedestrian was hit by a westbound vehicle that fled the scene.
It appears the woman was then hit by another westbound vehicle a short time later that also fled the scene, according to police.
The woman's identity hasn't been released. Descriptions of the vehicles involved have not been released.
