PHOENIX — A pedestrian is dead after a crash along Interstate 17 in Phoenix overnight.
The crash occurred early Monday morning in the southbound lanes near the Durango Curve.
ABC15 crews at the scene were told the pedestrian died from their injuries, but further details were not immediately available.
The crash blocked traffic for several hours but reopened around 4:45 a.m.
