PHOENIX — One person is dead after an apparent hit-and-run crash on Interstate 17 in Phoenix Thursday morning.
Arizona Department of Public Safety officials say the collision occurred in the northbound direction of traffic near Thunderbird Road.
DPS says a pedestrian was found dead at the scene, but there is no word on what vehicle may have struck the victim.
Expect delays in the area due to the investigation.
