PHOENIX — A serious crash shut down the busy intersection of 67th Avenue and McDowell Road early Tuesday morning.
Video from the scene showed two vehicles with extensive damage, including one that had gone off the road near the intersection.
Phoenix police say two drivers, a man and a woman, were taken to the hospital for treatment. Both are expected to be OK.
It appears the crash occurred when one of the drivers rear-ended the other, officials say.
Impairment is believed to be a factor for both drivers involved in the crash.
