The I-17 northbound at Northern is open after a crash caused a truck to spill nails into the road, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

Earlier in the morning, the ADOT advised drivers to avoid the I-17 northbound due to several crashes causing severe delays.

On the I-17 northbound at Northern, a crash caused a truck to spill nails onto the freeway, closing Northern entirely.

The HOV lane on I-17 southbound at Glendale is currently blocked due to a crash.

The I-17 isn’t the only freeway experiencing delays. A crash on SR-51 near McDowell has caused delays from Northern to McDowell.
