A portion of Loop 202 (Red Mountain Freeway) in northeast Mesa will shutdown this weekend for an improvement project.
The Arizona Department of Transportation recommends drivers plan ahead, consider alternate routes and use caution in work zones while the following restrictions are in place:
Eastbound Loop 202 (Red Mountain Freeway) closed between Gilbert and McDowell roads in Mesa from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday (Feb. 13) for pavement maintenance. DETOUR: Please consider alternate routes, including eastbound US 60 (Superstition Freeway). Local traffic will detour along McDowell Road.
Westbound Loop 202 (Red Mountain Freeway) closed between McDowell and Gilbert roads in Mesa from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday (Feb. 14) for pavement maintenance. DETOUR: Please consider alternate routes, including westbound US 60 (Superstition Freeway). Local traffic will detour along McDowell Road.
